Brief info
Sarah has been a licensed Massage Therapist since 2001, having earned her degree at Collinson School of Therapeutics and Massage in Colorado Springs. From there she treated clients in a spa setting and practiced Swedish techniques, relaxation massage and stretching.
In 2014 she went on to work with people in an athletic environment after obtaining a license through the Ohio State Medical Board. During the six years owning and operating her business, 'Sarah's Sports Massage', she was able to learn and specialize in sports massage therapy. She helped clients with a variety of sports-specific injuries and ailments such as tennis/golfer's elbow, plantar fasciitis, delayed onset muscle soreness just to name a few. She also gained experience working on people post-op and helping them recover from knee and hip replacement, also rotator cuff and labrum repair.
During summer months from 2015 to 2019 Sarah volunteered event sports massage and stretching at local sporting events such as marathons (5/10k) and cycling events. Having her business located within a fitness center she was also able to do the same for annual events hosted by the gym such as tennis, racquetball, and cycling.
Sarah received her Neuromuscular Massage Certification in the spring of 2018 through Earl Timberlake Therapies in Sardinia, Ohio. She continued developing and practicing her technique until relocating back to Colorado in June of 2021 where she joined an amazing team of therapists at Advanced Neuromuscular Therapeutics. Whether it's sports, work, or life in general, this intuitive therapist will get you back in your game!
